Springbok loose forward, Arno Botha, highlights a number of contract extensions announced by the Bulls this week.
Botha, a former Junior Springbok captain as well, has extended his contract until at least October 2017.
His leadership qualities, both on and off the field, together with his hard running and phenomenal work ethic make him a real asset to the team going forward.
High Performance Manager, Xander Janse van Rensburg, confirmed a number of players signing on plus the addition of flanker Nick de Jager. Formerly of Maties and Stellenbosch University, De Jager will arrive from Saracens, where he was playing the last two years.
"De Jager has signed a contract till the end of Super Rugby next year,” Janse van Rensburg confirmed.
“We are also delighted at the list of youngsters that have opted to further their careers at Loftus.
"Jaco Visagie, Janus Kirsten and Nqoba Mxoli all showed their true worth against the Canon Eagles in Japan, and will certainly add tremendous value to our structures going forward.
“Matthys Basson, Duncan Matthews and Kobus Marais have also shown an amazing temperament and hunger to take the next step into senior rugby.”
